National Exposition
The National Exposition is a showcase of how our students are transforming lives and enabling progress through entrepreneurial action. Enactus teams compete across 36 countries where the quality and impact of their projects is evaluated by business leaders serving as judges. These dynamic and inspiring events encourage creativity and reward results, ultimately leading to stronger programs and more lives improved. From each national competition one team is selected to represent their country at the Enactus World Cup. It is a great source of inspiration, passion and motivation to reach for even higher goals for the upcoming years!
Biggest achievements so far:
In 2015 Enactus UCU came 2nd in the Enactus National Competition. The UCU team presented excellently, giving details on their successful ‘Baraka Fish Farm’ project and brilliantly answering stiff questions from a panel of over 20 high-profile business representatives. Considering the small size of the UCU team (around 25) compared with other universities (often around 50), this is a huge achievement.
In 2021, Enactus UCU scored two big wins. Our project Emperiod won the innovation cup’s people league. The project was selected as a finalist based on a video pitch. Two representatives of the project gave a live pitch and answered questions from a panel of judges. The project won a workshop as well as 1000€ to help them boost their mission.
Furthermore, the board of Enactus UCU ’20-’21 won the “Best board of the year” award. As a board, we have been working hard to increase the visibility of Enactus UCU on our campus, as well as within the Enactus Netherlands community. We are so proud to see that this hard work payed off!

In 2022, our project Emperiod was selected as a finalist for the Innovation Cup and scored second place.

In 2023, Enactus UCU made it to the final competition round and scored second place. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and are looking forward to competing again in June 2024.
